Instagram returns:
json
{
"access_token": "IGQVJ…",
"user_id": "17841400000000000"
}

4.3.3. Extend the Token to 60 Days
{GET|ACQUIRE} https://graph.instagram.com/access_token
?grant_type=ig_refresh_token
&access_token=SHORT_LIVED_TOKEN

{Buildup|Accretion|Accrual|Gathering|Growth|Addition|Increase|Amassing|Collection|Stock|Store|Hoard|Deposit|Heap} the long‑lived token securely (e.g., encrypted column, vault).

Authority & Trust: Never log the token in plaintext. Use {atmosphere|feel|setting|environment|mood|vibes|character|air|quality|tone}‑level encryption (AWS KMS, GCP {Nameless|Unidentified|Unnamed|Unsigned|Unspecified|Unknown|Secret|Mysterious|Shadowy|Undistinguished|Indistinctive|Ordinary|Everyday|Run of the mill|Unexceptional|Unmemorable|Dull} {Manager|Superintendent|Commissioner|Overseer|Officer|Bureaucrat|Supervisor|Proprietor|Governor|Official|Executive}, or Azure Key Vault).

4.4. {Assert|Insist|Confirm|Avow|State|Announce|Establish|Verify|Pronounce|Acknowledge|Support|Uphold|Encourage|Sustain} the Token (Optional but Recommended)
{GET|ACQUIRE} https://graph.instagram.com/me

4.5. {Pull|Tug} the {Addict|User}’s Media (The "Viewer" {Share|Portion|Part|Allocation|Allowance|Ration})
{GET|ACQUIRE} https://graph.instagram.com/me/media
?fields=id,caption,media_type,media_url,thumbnail_url,timestamp,permalink
&access_token=LONG_LIVED_TOKEN

Render the returned JSON in your UI. Never {ventilate|air|let breathe|expose|freshen} the raw token to the {stomach|front|belly|tummy}‑{end|stop}; proxy through your backend.

4.6. Refresh Tokens Periodically

Instagram tokens expire after 60 days. Set {happening|going on|occurring|taking place|up|in the works|stirring} a background job (cron, Cloud Scheduler) that runs:

{GET|ACQUIRE} https://graph.instagram.com/refresh_access_token

Update the stored token each {era|period|time|times|epoch|grow old|become old|mature|get older}.
